Australian owned and made – RICH skincare – a review

This is a very new range of products for me. I got introduced to them just recently.

I’ll tell you what, I fell in love with the clean, simple packaging and couldn’t wait to try the range.

There is a lot of goodness in these products, such as organically certified ingredients, no parabens, no sulphates and no artificial colours or fragrances.

First up – The Anti-Ageing Renewal Serum.

I usually don’t  like fragrance free products but this magic serum in a bottle smells amazingly fresh and pumps out into a clear liquid which is a highly concentrated age – fighting warrior. It’s not sticky or gooey and absorbs very quickly into the skin. You only need a little bit to feel refreshed and I apply over night when skin has a chance to regenerate and rest from the stresses of the day.

1 thing your skin does when it ages is that it reduces the levels of collagen it needs to sustain the suppleness and elasticity which prevents wrinkles. This serum gives your skin a boost of collagen + added Siberian Gingseng, Soya Protein and Organic Goji Berry for extra antioxidating bliss. Another secret ingredient is Beta Glucan – relatively new in the anti-ageing scene, it has proven itself to be an effective fighter against wrinkles and overall skin roughness. *

The formula is very light and that is why can be used during the day as well, which most anti-aging serums you can’t use during the day as they 1. have a certain fragrance (for example retinol treatments) and 2. can peel

RRP$49.99 for 15ml

I would recommend this product to everyone concerned with ageing as it is better to prevent than to fix after the damage has been done. One excellent tip from my skincare days is – make sure you wear SPF 30+ (at minimum!) moisturiser, sunscreen under your make up every single day, as UV rays can penetrate clothing, surfaces and exist even on gloomy, cloudy days. Sun damage is the number one cause of ageing and I can not stress how dangerous the sun can be, especially for us in Australia.

Secondly I wanted to share with you is:

The Caffeine Eye Serum

Again, no fragrance added, smells fresh and gentle. The texture is very light, almost watery and cools the eye area straight after application.

Caffeine should be a key word here, for any skincare connoisseur.

What exactly does it do though?

1. Caffeine causes sun damaged skin cells to die off ( we all have sun damaged skin cells but just don’t realise it yet!), and healthy ones to continue to regenerate.

2. Caffeine has anti-inflammatory properties and can reduce puffiness.

This Eye Serum also has extracts of cucumber to help soothe skin around the delicate eye area. This one is a winner for me as I never get enough sleep and end up with puffy eyes and dark circles. This product helps me freshen up before I apply make up in the mornings.

RRP$44.95 for 15g
