Topshop, Forever 21, Victoria’s Secret among the few coming to Australia!
Surfing the net for new products and the buzz, I was excited to find this article:
H&M To Open In Sydney And Melbourne (Marie Claire Fashion News Online)
Naturally, when a new globally successful chain store opens in Sydney or Melbourne, people lose their bananas!
Think Gap and more recently Zara and Miu Miu.
Now we’re waiting for Topshop to launch on our shores in October this year…
Another store I am personally waiting for is Sephora. Why does the rest of the world get to enjoy make up and beauty heaven while the only thing that comes close for us is Priceline (that’s not a stab at you Priceline, you know I love you).
I had to scroll down to read more and when the highlighted in red letters composed Uniqlo (I must do a post about this brand. If you haven’t heard of it, let me just tell you there is a Facebook page called “ Bring Uniqlo to Australia” and it has over 1,300 likes!), Abercrombie and Fitch, Forever 21, Topshop and Victoria’s secret, it made me a little bit high.
Then I had to share in on Twitter, then I had to email my friends, then I had to think about it and got PO’ed at how long we have to wait for these stores to finally open and that made me frustrated…Now I’m just thinking about all the $ I will be spending closer to the end of the year and I am a little scared.
It’s interesting to get such a wheel of emotions out of one article about, not even for certain, but talks that these stores are THINKING of opening in Australia.
Are we so far away from the world that we get stupidly excited about something that could merely be RUMOURS?
Short answer, Yes!
But then again, to keep us occupied while waiting, we have amazing shows such as Being Lara Bingle and The Shire (check out this recent article on the predicted popularity of the show from Mumbrella) to lower our expectations of the World. Thanks Channel 10!
And I end with sarcasm!
What stores do you wish would finally make their way down under?
